米Activisionは5月24日（現地時間）、YouTubeに「Artwork Reveal – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II」と題した動画を公開し、FPSゲーム「Call of Duty」シリーズの最新作『Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II』を10月28日から発売すると明らかにした。
